Lenovo K320 Ice Series by jj_sky5000
Project Log: Here
Ice isn't something you normally see in PC modding. However, jj_sky5000's ice effect is by far the most convincing we've seen and made his last project, Intel Ice, hugely popular in July's
Mod of the Month. Thankfully, we haven't seen the last of these antics as jj_sky5000 was chosen to compete in a modding contest hosted by
Lenovo, competing against the likes of Boddaker and slippery skip.
Initial renders show a large, tower case housing a high-end PC with lots of water-cooling hardware. However at this point at the beginning of November, we didn't really have any idea how the ice would fit into the project.
Thankfully, hardware and materials weren't a problem asjj_sky5000 started work on a case which was provided by Lenovo. Needless to say, it didn't stay un-modded for long.
Here's the ice. Using foil and resin, the technique works brilliantly and it's not long before the case stands clad in huge, convincing panels of the stuff. It really is one of the best techniques we've seen all year.
Make sure you head over jj_sky5000's project log to see the latest updates to this ice-clad PC and if you'd like to vote for jj_sky5000's project, head to
